Free weekly training for Labour councillors, candidates, and campaign teams getting ready for May 2027.
Each Wednesday we cover one campaign strategy, from working out how many votes you need to getting verified for Meta ads, and you leave with a plan to implement it.

May 2027 Elections
WHO IT'S FOR
Every council seat in Wales and Scotland is up in May 2027, and many English councillors are standing for new unitary councils. If you’re standing, or running a campaign for someone who is, the Clinic is for you.
Councillors
Standing again in May 2027, on your own or as a ward team. Build a campaign, week by week, that shows voters what youโve delivered.
Candidates
Selected, or thinking about standing. Get your campaign ready to run, with a clear message, a plan, and the tools to reach voters.
Comms officers
Running social media, email, and press for an MP, MS, MSP, or councillor. Get help and fresh ideas you can put to work straight away.
Party officers
Organising a CLP, BLP, or Labour groupโs campaign. Leave with a plan your team can work from, and skills to pass on to your volunteers.
How it works
Half an hour from us, then it's your turn
Half an hour of teaching, then plenty of time for your questions.
1
We teach one topic
We talk it through for about 30 minutes, with practical steps you can take that week, then open it up to your questions.
2
Bring your questions
Ask about your own ward or constituency, with plenty of time to talk it through, and leave knowing your next step.
3
Take something away
Most weeks come with a free template or tool, so you can put what you learn into practice the same week.
Weโd love to know what youโd like help with. The Clinic is guided by the Campaign Roadmap and your ideas help us decide what to go into in more depth. When the same question comes from several campaigns, it gives us a good steer for a future session. Anyone can send one in, signed up or not.
Not sure what to ask? For example:
Who should be verified when our ads run from the CLP page?
What should go on my website before May?
How do I use leaflets to collect voter data?
How often should we email voters during the campaign?
Tick "I agree to receive emails from Labour Templates", and weโll let you know if your topic comes up in a session.
